I read that this park will be modeled after Maggie's Bark Park. My wife and I have a dog and have been to all of the dog parks in Nashville. It is my personal opinion that Nolensville can do better than this, and I wish the dog park could be more like the two Nashville Dog Parks at Edwin Warner and Centennial Park. The main difference is in the type of fence used, and I really think a Nolensville dog park would look more classy and be more visited if it didn't have a chain link fence. The style of fence at the other parks would fit in great with many fo the existing cow/farm type fences in the area. I know several dog owners who are willing to drive all the way to Steeplechase/Bellevue over Maggie's because of the atmosphere. Please take this comment into consideration.
Can you set up a Paypal link to collect contributions? You can set one up at https://www.paypal.com/us/mrb/pal=QPA2SCZ3XKW5U & then a button would just need to be placed on the website. I think you would get a few extra donations if people could donate with a credit card! I would.
I agree with you Jordan! No chain link fence please. Lets keep Nolensville beautiful. If were going to build it.... lets build it the right way.
